Am I eligible to do M.Tech in Astrophysics after doing B.E in computers?


Hi all,
I have done BE in Computers.can anyone please tell me that am i eligible to do M.Tech in Astrophysics? For this for which branch gate paper i have to qualify? Which are the top most universities to do it?

Astrophysics is the branch of astronomy that deals with the physics of the universe

including origin and development of celestial objects such as stars and galaxies .

Eligibilty:

60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in

Bachelor's degree in:

Mechanical,

Electronics,

Electrical

Civil

Instrumentation or allied branches

You will also need a GATE score with high percentile for getting admission in this course

I HAVE PASSED OUT BCA JUST NOW. I WANT TO MAKE MY CAREER IN ASTROPHYSICS. SO WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

Hi! Are those students, who have a bachelors degree in Comp. Sci. Engineering eligible? I don't see Comp. Sci. mentioned above along with the other streams.
