National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) came into existence in 1959 by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). When NAL was started, its headquarters was at Delhi. In 1960, the headquarters of NAL shifted to Bangalore. NAL owns the pride of becoming the second largest aerospace Company in India. The primary role of NAL is to develop civilian aircraft in India. NAL works along with HAL, DRDO and ISRO. NAL has completed 50 years of its service to the country and over these years it had made significant contribution to a number of aerospace defence & strategic programmes, engine development programmes, space programmes, aircraft programmes and for vital industries as well.
Job Profile:
National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) invites applications from eligible candidates for the Scientists for NAL Bangalore.
No. of posts: Scientists in Group IV(1) - 1; Scientists in Group IV(2) - 42, Scientists in Group IV(3) - 9; Scientists in Group IV(4) – 2
Pay Scale – Scientists in Group IV(1) - Rs. 15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400; Scientists in Group IV(2) - Rs. 15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600, Scientists in Group IV(3) - Rs. 15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 7600; Scientists in Group IV(4) - Rs. 37400 - 67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 8700
Eligibility:
Age criteria – The age limit is 35 yrs for Scientists in Group IV(1) and Scientists in Group IV(2); 40 yrs for Scientists in Group IV(3); and 45 yrs for Scientists in Group IV(4).
Educational Qualification and experience – The candidate must have specific educational qualification and post qualification experience as prescribed by NAL.
