Indian Engineering Service (IES) Exam Eligibility.

Indian Engineering Service (IES) examination is conducted by UPSC in every year. If you completed B.Tech degree in the EEE branch then you are eligible to apply for the IES examination. To appear in the IES examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = To appear in the IES examination you need the engineering degree in any one of the following branch :
->Electronics Engineering.
->Electrical Engineering.
->Civil Engineering.
->Mechanical Engineering.

Age Limit = The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing of this examination. The age relaxation is also applicable for the candidates belong to reservation category.

NOTE = There are no limit percentage required to appear in the IES examination only pass the qualifying examination is enough to apply for IES examination.

For IES exam there is no percentage require for give this exam.

For IES exam there is some branch will give this exam like:-

Electrical engineering
Civil Engineering
Mechanical engineering
Electronics Engineering

all these 3 branches student are eligible to give this exam

To appear for Engineering Service exam, there is no standard set for the percentage of marks. So, if you hold a degree in engineering, you are eligible for the exam, provided you are within the age limit of 21-30 years.
The maximum age limit is relaxed upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST category.
The examination is conducted in the following four disciplines of engineering:

Indian Engineering Service Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year.

Eligibility Criteria :-

Age limits :-The candidate should have a minimum 21 years to 30 years of age and the relaxation is given to the various reserved categories.

Education Qualification :-The candidate must be a graduation completed from any recognized Institute/university or equivalent qualification.

Eligibility Criteria for IES:

1. Age limit:*Age must be more than 21 years and less than 30 years. The upper age relaxation for SC, ST, Government servants is 5 years; for OBC is 3 years and for physically challenged is 10 years.

2. Educational qualification:*Degree in Engineering, final year students can also apply on provisional basis. Additionally, the candidates have to be physically fit as per the guidelines of UPSC.

IES is eligible for given below department of engineering.

4.Electronics and Communication Engineering.

As you have mentioned that you are from EEE branch then you can appear in this exam, but you have to give the exam on the syllabus of Electronics or Electrical..
Now you decide in which field you have more clear concept..
and give the exam on the syllabus of that field..

yes u r eligible 4 ias , ips examinations without any criteria of percentages

Yes, you are eligible to apply for IES as per your qualification. There is no requirement of any percentage of marks for application for IES.

IES-INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE conducted by UPSC every year for recriutment in the top Technical post in Dept. under Central Govt. in the following branches:-

MECHANICAL
ELECTRICAL
CIVIL
ELECTRONIC AND TELECOMMUNICATION

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation in Engineering in any discipline from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years is eligible to apply for IES.

The selection is through written exam on the basis of the subject in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Electronic & Telecommunication branch followed by personal Interview.

So as a B.Tech. degree holder in EEE branch, you can apply for IES but written exam will be on the above mentioned subjects.
