Yes, you are eligible to apply for Indian Forest Service (IFS) after M.Sc Microbiology course. Those candidates who have completed a bachelor degree with Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology are eligible to apply for the IFS entrance exam.

Indian Forest Service (IFS) entrance exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for every year.

Eligibility Criteria for IFS Exam:-

► Candidates who have completed bachelor’s degree in science stream with Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology are eligible to apply for IFS exam.

► Final Year students can also apply.

► Age limits is 21 years to 30 years, 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

► The applicant should be Physically as well as Medically Fit.
