am i eligible for INDIAN ARMY if i have a dental problem ?

It depend upon the condition of the candidate. If you have less the 32 teeth in your mouth then you are not eligible. if you have any surgery in your mouth or other part of body then also you are not eligible. In my openion when you are medically fit after that you can apply.

If you want join for Indian Army. You are satisfying the eligibility criteria for Indian Army.

The Eligibility Criteria:

>> The candidate must have to passed 12th class from a recognized university.

>> And the final year of 12th class students also to apply for this NDA Examination.

>> The age limit in between 16.5 to 19 years.

>> The candidate must be male person & unmarried and medically fit.

NDA - National Defense Academy is the exam which you have to go through in order to join India Army.

But as you say that you have dental problem, I am really sorry to say that you are not eligible to sit for this exam.


One of the criteria's to sit for this exam is that you should be medically fit. There should not be any problems regarding any part of your health or body.


So you should try for some other career but you cannot join the Indian Army.

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, the exam of which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Apart from other eligibility to apply for NDA one should be Medically fit to join Indian Army or any wing of NDA.

As you have Dental problem, I think it will not be a big disease which can be curable and after which it will be better to apply for NDA.

sir can a person with problem of deep bite be selected in army ,pl suggest me some way to get it checked

Actually I had lot of dental problems
After going through silver filling in my teeth . Now I had 14 dental points.does I am fit medically in dental health during medical examination of armed forces

For joining Indian Army you have to qualify medical test as per guideline given by AGDFMS.
Dental if you have minor problems like tooth decay then you are eligible for Indian Army.
But for Major dental problem like:-
Asymmetric jaw relation
Tooth missing more than 4
Congenital anomaly
Then there is chance that you might rejected in dental examination of Indian Army.

I am having deepbite. Will it pose any problem in my NDA Medical ?
