Am I eligible for IPS exam when having small tatto on right hand?
Sir. Actually i am in a deep trouble. I have a small tatto on my right hand. I want to appear for IPS exam. My seniors say I am ot eligible, Please tell me am I eligible for this exam or not?

It is not a problem even though you have small tattoo on right hand and it will not create any problem in the selection process of IPS exam.
UPSC conducts IPS examination every year to recruit the candidates for police services. # Eligibility for IPS exam : -> Graduation in any stream or equivalent examination pass from University Grants Commission recognised college or university. Final year pursuing students are also eligible to apply for this exam. -> Age limit to apply for this exam is 21-32 years for General category, 21-35 years for OBC candidates and 21-37 years for SC and ST candidates. -> Physical standards required are : * 165 cm height for general category and 160 cm for reserved category candidates in case of male candidates & 150 cm height for general and 145 cm height for reserved candidates in case of women candidates. * Distant vision should be 6/6 or 6/9 in good eye, 6/9 or 6/12 in worst eye & 0.6 in good eye, 0.8 in worst eye for near vision. # Number of attempts allowed are : * 6 times for General category * 9 times for OBC candidates and * No limit for SC and ST candidates. # For further information please visit www.upsc.gov.in |
