The EIILM University, Sikkim, is recognized by the University Grant Commission [UGC] and the distance program provided by the University is offered by the Directorate of Distance Learning, hence the degree program will get the recognition on All India Level, including in State and Central Government organizations.
To Join the Central Bureau of Investigation [CBI] department, candidate has to write the Combined Graduate Level Examination which is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. Graduates in any stream are eligible for the exam provided he is within the age limit of 20 to 25 years. After selection one can join as a sub inspector in the Central Bureau of Investigation department.
