Re: Am I eligible for LLB course after scoring 45%? Names of the colleges where I can get LLB degree?
If you have scored less than 45 percent, then the chances are very low to get admission for LLB. You need at least 45 percent marks to get admission for LLB. Anything less than this would mean that you will have to look hard to find colleges that will accept the candidates with such low percentage.
However this only applies for General and OBC candidates. The Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe can apply for the LLB course if scored minimum of 40 percent marks. In case of Delhi University, the candidate is eligible for the entrance exam if completed graduation. SC/ST do not require any percentage criteria in Delhi University. In other case it becomes little difficult to find college. But whatever you do, please never apply for LLB through correspondence. It is not a valid LLB degree. The Bar Council of India does not recognize such degree. It means there is no point going after one. If you completed the LLB through correspondence or the distance education, it will not be accepted by Bar Council of India and you will not be able to practice as lawyer in any Indian court. LLB Eligibility 1. You must have finished graduation in any discipline. 2. 45 to 50 percent marks are required to get admission. 3. SC/ST will need 40 percent marks to get admission. 4. There is no percentage requirement for SC/ST in DU. 5. No relaxation is offered to OBC. 6. Upper age limit is 30 years. 7. Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years. |
