Re: Names of some of the good LLB colleges?
There is no stream requirement for LLB course. It does not matter what subjects you took for Class 12th, you will still be eligible for the LLB course.
There are two under graduate law degree. First is the BA LLB which is taken after completing 12th standard. While the second degree is called LLB and it is taken after completing graduation. Since you have not mentioned your qualification, let me give procedure of both of them. BA LLB is integrated law degree which has a Bachelor degree and LLB combined. Thus the duration of the course is 5 years. For this course National Law University are the best option. For admission you will have to apply for the Common Law Admission Test. It is conducted in June/July. CLAT Eligibility 1. You should pass 12th Class before applying for CLAT. 2. Subjects/stream does not matter. 3. Must have 45 percent marks in 12th. 4. 5% relaxation for SC,ST,PWD. 5. Age should be below 20 years to apply. 6. There is 2 years relaxation for SC,ST and PWD. If you have already completed graduation then better go for the LLB, 3 years course. There is no point of doing graduation again with BA LLB course. There are several options for 3 years LLB as well. You can take admission in Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University, Government Law College in Mumbai and many other good options. LLB Eligibility 1. The candidate needs to complete graduation. 2. Must score 45-50 percent marks. 3. There is relaxation of 5% for SC/ST. 4. DU do not have any marks criteria for SC/ST. 5. OBC does not get any marks relaxation. 6. The upper age limit is set at 30 years by BCI. 7. Up to 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. |
