>> But many other colleges wants minimum 45% marks in Graduation, So you can apply for those colleges. But you cant eligible to apply for CAT Entrance examination. The admission in MBA course are based on entrance examination like CAT/MAT. >> You are Only eligible to apply for MAT Entrance examination, Because for MAT Exam there is no minimum Percentage eligibility, Just passed after graduation you are eligible to apply for MAT Examination. The examination was conducted by AIMA Every year 4 Times. And Eligible candidates may fill the application form online. >> So, If you have scored good Percentile in MAT Examination, then you will get admission in some good colleges, So scored Good marks and then you will get call form the top colleges and then you have to appeared for the GD and PI and then finally you will get admission in MBA Course. But you are not eligible to take admission in top Business schools OR CAT examination because you have not scored minimum 50% marks in your Graduation. But with the help of MAT scored you will get admission in MBA Course. So please apply for MAT Examination and then you will get admission in MBA Course and for more information check the official website - http://www.aima-ind.org |

For admission of MBA , you must be cleared the CAT , MAT ,XAT exam. Also you must be completed your graduation degree with 50 %. Marks relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/PH candidate. For those candidate percentage is 45%. So if you are from above category then you are eligible for MBA course. Some institute set their criteria to get only 45% in graduation.so you are eligible for only MAT exam. So you can prepare for MAT exam also scored good in MAT exam. All the best |

Re: Am I eligible for MBA course having secured 46% in B.Com?
Dear aspirant,
The candidate should be a graduate form any background. Should have minimum 60% in 12th and graduation. There is a age limit. Age relaxation as per government norms. You can easily appear for this exam if the above mentioned criteria is satisfied. So, it is really tough for you to attend any of the IBPS exam. You can appear for the UPSC IAS exam. Believe you can and you will on the half way. Please do visit this website for your queries related to any entrance exam. Best of luck |

Re: Am I eligible for MBA course having secured 46% in B.Com?
Dear aspirant,
-Yes you are eligible for MBA but you should apply only through MAT scores. -You will not be eligible for CAT because you have less than 50 % marks in the graduation. -For MAT there is no percentage criteria you just have to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university. -The colleges which comes under MAT are also very good so if you have a good score in MAT then you will get a good college for doing MBA. -So apply for MAT and start preparing from now onwards because competition is very high for MBA admission in top colleges. BEST OF LUCK.... |

Re: Am I eligible for MBA course having secured 46% in B.Com?
Hello,
See you are not eligible for MBA as you passed B.Com in 46%. It is not about attempts or how many times you sat for the examination. It is about the percentage that you get ultimately. MBA has no other strict limitations other than you must get 50% or more in your graduation and also you must clear either CAT or MAT or GMAT or CMAT etc. In your case it will better to go for a job. Since you are a B.Com degree holder you will get a job in any BPO or call center. You will be able to help out clients with their queries. You just need to learn the particular accent used the clients, as you are the one who will have to adjust with the client language. But do not worry, you will trained for this, by the company itself. As and when your performance improves, you will get a raise too. So good luck. |

Re: Am I eligible for MBA course having secured 46% in B.Com?
Hi,
MBA- Master of Business Administration. It is a two year degree programme. These are few entrance exams for MBA admissions - CAT MAT UPCAT XLRI etc. Eligibility for entrance exams- Graduation in any stream with minimum of 50% marks. So, you have less marks to apply for entrance exams, so you might not be eligible for giving MBA entrance exam. however few colleges take admisisions with 45 % marks also. you can give a try there. |

Re: Am I eligible for MBA course having secured 46% in B.Com?
dear friend,
Min eligibilty To sit in the MBA entrance Tests like CAT is: Graduationin any stream with min 50% marks In Entrance tests like XAT, MAT etc you just need to be graduation pass to apply for the test. There is no upper age limit to apply for this course Last date to apply for CAT -19th sep 2012 CAT EXAMS IS ON 11th Oct to 6th Nov 2012 Last date to apply for XAT is 5th Dec 2012 XAT exams is on 6th Jan 2013 So if you meet the above min eligibilty, YES you can do your MBA after B.com But make sure that you do MBA from reputed colleges only, where the placement record is very good The college should have good faculty and infrastructure Just doing MBA from any college which is not good will lead to a situation where you will be without a job after doing your MBA ~regards~ priyo06 |
