Re: Am I eligible for PO in SBI after scoring 53% in graduation and 60% in PG?
There is no percentage restriction generally, for recruitment in SBI for PO posts.
The academic qualification required to become eligible to apply for PO in SBI is Graduation in any discipline from some recognised university. These days banks are recruiting through IBPS common written examination. The procedure to apply for IBPS common written examination for PO posts, lasted in March month of this year. http://www.ibps.in/ SBI shall be notifying from time to time about its recruitment procedure (whether it will recruit through its own exam or through IBPS common written exam). The notification is generally published in Employment News and in national dailies. Also it is posted by various job related websites like http://www.sarkari-naukri.in/ http://www.freshersworld.com/ etc. |

Dear Friend ,
As per my knowledge , i would like to tell you that if you belong to a general category then you are not eligible for SBI PO exam after getting 53% marks in graduation because the minimum marks required to be eligible for the exam is 60% marks . On the other hand , if you belong to SC/ST/OBC candidate , then there is a relaxation of 5% marks , i.e , if you have 55% marks , then you are eligible for the exam. Other Eligibility Criteria Required For Exam are : * Your age must lie in between 21-30 years. * You must be a citizen of India. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.
