Dear student,

No, if you are General/ OBC candidates, you are not eligible for PSU companies.

The eligibility for PSU companies are

Graduate in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Production/Computer Science/ Metallurgy/ Aeronautic Branches of Engineering from any recognized Institution/University. General/ OBC candidates should have secured 65% marks and SC/ST candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% Marks.

I have also attach eligibility criteria sheet for more deatails. please find it.

YES, you are eligible to apply.

But PSU companies shortlist candidates based on the GATE scores
So you have to apply for the GATE exams which is conducted by IIT

Next GATE exams would be held in January 2014

Eligibilty to apply for the GATE exams is:
>> BE/BTECH/BARCH pass or Final year student

>> M.SC/MCA/MA with subjects/branch Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent

>> Integrated Master’s degree programs or Dual Degree programs in Engineering / Technology (Five year programme). This programme should have been done just after passing class 12th

Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
