Am I eligible for UGC NET exam after completing MSc in remote sensing
I have completed M.sc in remote sensing and gis from Burdwan University with 77% marks in distance mode.Am i eligible for ugc net exam??waiting for your early response.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC. Those candidate who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55%and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its hold 50% above in masters degree. Age criteria for NET exam:- For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years. For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria. Candidate you have to choose the subject in which you have done your post graduation. If you are not able to find the subject in subject list published by UGC then you can also choose related subject according to your study. >> Candidate NET exam is carried out twice in a year to recruit new candidates for the posts:- 1). JRF( Junior Research Fellowship). >> Age limit to apply for JRF is 28 years. 2). Final year candidate are also allowed to apply. >> Candidate must have done the post graduation degree from govt recognized institute with minimum 50% marks, Relaxation of 5% for candidate comes under SC/ST category. >> To apply for NET exam candidate must be Indian citizen. Exam Details:- >> There are three papers in the written exam. :- Paper I is of 50 questions and carries 100 marks. :- Paper II is of 50 questions and carries 100 marks. :- Paper III is of 75 questions and carries 150 marks. >> Exam is of objective type questions. Upcoming UGC NET exam Dates:- Date of Notification release:- 04 August 2017. Last date of application form submission:- 30 August 2017. Date of Exam:- 05 November 2017. If M.Sc Geoinformatics is applicable for UGC NET. But in Subject list this M.Sc geoinforamtics has not mentioned.
So under which subject have applied for UGC NET Exam. please clear it. |
