my date of birth is 1st jan 1994..am i elligible for NDA(i)-2012?? and if not,then am i elligible for NDA(ii)-2012?? pls guide me

Yes. You are eligible to appear for both the NDA Exams of upcoming year.

Because, you are going to complete 19 years by 01-01-2013.

In order to be eligible for NDA Exam, you should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

Apart from required age, you should also possess the required academic qualification in order to take up NDA Exam.

For this, you must have completed 12th class from a recognized board or pursuing final year of 12th class.

Here are the important dates regarding upcoming NDA Exam.

Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 30-01-2012

NDA- NDA stands for National Defence Academy which exam is conducted by UPSC.

YES, ofcourse you are eligible for NDA1 &2 both.
because this year:-
Age Limits :-
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st January, 1997 are eligible.
and your age limit comes between it , So you can apply for for NDA1 & 2.

NDA is one of the famous exam and for this exam you have to passed your +2 exam and then you are eligible for this exam. age should 16.5 to 19 years. the details of this exam is available in the notification.

you can appear for NDA exam till 191/2 years of age.if you have done plus 2 then you can also give TES exam also Apart from required age, you should also possess the required academic qualification in order to take up NDA Exam.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian malehaving either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical and mental health.

As your date of birth is 01.01.1994 you have already crossed 19 years by 01.01.2013, so it will not be possible for you to apply for NDA I and NDA-II of 2013.

Eligibility For NDA

Candidates willing to appear for the National Defence Academy(NDA) must have the following minimum qualifications :-

>> candidate must have completed 12th from a recognized board(no percentage restriction)

>> candidate must have Physics and Maths as subjects in 12th for applying for Air Force or Navy..

>> candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years..

For appearing for the NDA-1 2013 the candidate must be born not before 2nd January,1995 and not later than 2nd July,1997

So, in 2013 you are eligible to appear for both NDA-1 as well as NDA-2 (as per your dob 13-10-1995..but you cannot appear for the NDA-1 or NDA-2 in 2014 as you shall be exceeding the age limit by then..

so I would suggest you to choose wisely..

NDA(National Defence Academy) exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised board or university.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

You must be a citizen of india.

You should be an Indian Origin.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e Girls are not eligible.

The age limits are 16.5years to 19 years.

No relaxation for any reservation candidates.

For Indian navy and Airforce you must be complete 12th standard with PCM subjects, but no need for Army.
