Nice to see that you are Interested to apply for NDA Examination and this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination from a recognized Board, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NDA.

But only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not after than 1st July, 1996 are eligible for NDA.

According to my calculation, your age just crossed 18 in Jan 2012....

Normally, NDA exam is held twice in a year, in the month of April and September.

So at the time of April exam, your age will be 18+...

And according to eligibility criteria...

The candidate should be between 16-1/2 to 19 years of age.

So you will be eligible for both NDA I and NDA II.

So keep updated yourself....

As you mentioned your DOB i.e. 29/1/1994. So you are now 18 year old.

According to NDA exam 2012 Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible.


So friend according to this criteria you are definitely eligible to apply for NDA exam.


Other than this you should have passed 12th standard from recognized central/state board or school.

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

You are absolutely eligible for NDA exams. And the exam is on 15th April this year. The online submission process is nearing so, apply soon before the submission process completion date i.e submit before 30th Jan. Let's get into the details of NDA.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy and NDA is conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) twice in a year. The exams are simply called NDA I exam and NDA II exam. Generally the NDA I exam is held on April and NDA II will be held on August month of a year.
