sir,
my date of birth is 28/12/1994, so i m 18 now and elligible to give nda paper,
but in the form year 1994 is not given....it starts from 1995
so what should i do??????

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy. The Union Public Commission conducts the NDA Exam twice every year in the months of April & August with the names as NDA-I & NDA-II respectively.

NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings-Indian Air Force , Indian Navy and Indian Army .

Eligibility Criteria for NDA : -

Educational Qualification : -

=> Completed 12th board or final year of 12th standard.

Age Limit for NDA Exam: -

=> Your age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years, no age relaxation for reserved candidate .

### Your date birth is 28/12/1994 .So your age now 18+ .You can apply in NDA II exam for 2013 because this NDA II 2013 exam is your last NDA exam .

Nationality : -

=> Indian

Martial Status : -

=> Only unmarried male candidates .

You are not eligible to apply for the NDA exams any more
Minimum age to apply is 16.5 years
Maximum age to apply is 19 years

Next NDA exams would be held on 11th August 2013
for the 11th August 2013 NDA exam only candidates born between 2nd July 1995 to 1st January 1998 can apply

this exam is conducted by UPSC twice in Year in Month of June and December called NDA-II and NDA-I......

NDA exam is conducted in Three Wings:

1. Indian Army
2. Indian Navy
3. Indian Air Force

IF you have passed your 12th Std no you are eligible for it...

Age of candidate should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years....

no age relaxation for reserved candidate .....

Your date birth is 28/12/1994 now you are apply for National Defence Academy II exam for 2013.......

Only Unmarried Male are eligible for it........

NDA stands for the National defense academy .This examinations is conducted for 10+2 level students who are interested in joining the different wings of defense which are :

1.Indian Army

2.India Navy

3.Indian Airforce

This examination is held two times in a year by the UPSC.

For this exam your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.Now NDA 2 2013 only those candidates are eligible in terms of age requirement whose date of birth is between 2nd july 1995 to 1st January 1998.

So I think that you are not eligible for the NDA examinations.

Friend do not get dishearted with this if you are really interested in joining defense then after completing your bachelor's degree you can go for the Combined defense services examinations .

For this exam the age should between 19-25 years .

Note: If you have secured more than 75% marks in 10+2 then there is one more opportunity for you to join the defense that is Technical entry scheme.

If you are shortlisted the you will get chance to appear for the SSB directly without giving any written test.
