i have 56% in 10 and 60%in 12 .i have 6.6 dgpa till 6 semester in cse department .am i eligible for wipro or some other companies?

Wipro is one of the biggest IT company in India which deals in areas like outsourcing, IT services, consulting etc. The company has the workforce of 130,000 employees which keeps it almost par with Microsoft.


It is everyone's dream to work for WIPRO. However in your case, i am afraid that you are not meeting the requirements to get a job in Wipro. To get a job in Wipro, a candidate is required to maintain 65 percent marks throughout the academic career.


What this means is 65 percent marks in 10th, 12th and B.Tech course. You have come short of requirement in 10th, 12th and even your percentage in B.Tech as for now is 62 percent.


Please do not feel disappointed because you are still likely to get a decent job. I would say that you have more chances of getting job in Infosys rather than Wipro. Infosys has on various ocassions given some relaxation to candidates in the requirement. However it depends on how you perform in other in interview and graduation course. If you could cross 65 percent mark for graduation course, I am hopeful that Infosys may offer you job.


However your best chance of getting job in not with MNC. Most of these companies have their requirements which are hardly relaxed. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, HCL etc require 60-65 percent marks throughout the academic career. In case of IBM, candidate is required to score 70 percent marks in B.Tech. Below are some compaines where you stand a better chance to find a job.

Eligibility criteris for Wipro

->The candidate must have secured at least 50 % marks in 10th

->The candidate must have secured at least 50 % marks in intermediate

->He must have passed graduation/post graduation/Btech/Mca with at least 60% aggregate

->The candidate must not be having any backlogs
No current arrears but upto 2 backlogs are allowed.
