Hello sir, I have completed M.Sc IT from Rajasthan University with 72% but in graduation degree I was taken BA and got 48.50%. Am I eligible to write GATE exam?

You have completed M.Sc in IT so you are eligible for GATE exam.

If you have completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then you are eligible for GATE exam.

Qualification required for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology from a recognized institute. Final year graduation candidates can also apply. Other than this, candidates who have done master's degree in science or computer applications or mathematics can also apply.

2. You are eligible to apply for 2018 GATE exam with Master of Science in Information technology.

On basis of your GATE rank, you will get admission in college in Master of technology.

As you are M.Sc (IT) holder, You are eligible to apply for GATE still you have completed bachelor's degree in arts.

- Deadline of Application : 4th Oct, 2016
- Availability of Hall Tickets : 5th Jan, 2017
- GATE Exam : Feb, 2017
