You did not mention the category to which you belong. In fact, this is going to play an important role in your eligibility to NIMCET Exam.
This NIMCET Exam is going to be conducted by NITs to give admission for the candidates to MCA course. The admission will be given by NITs to candidates for MCA program depending upon the rank that is going to secured by the candidate in the NIMCET Exam. Here is the eligibility criteria for NIMCET Exam. -One should have to secure a minimum of 60% in 12th class and in Bachelors degree too. -Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC/ST category. -One should have gone through Mathematics as one of the subject in 10+2 and in Graduation too. -One should have completed Graduation with any of -Statistics -Business Mathematics -Discrete Mathematics -Mathematics -Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science -Elementary Statistics -Business Statistics -Computational Mathematics. So, if you are a candidate of SC/ST category and if you have gone through Mathematics as one of the subject in 10+2 and Graduation, then you are eligible to appear for NIMCET Exam. If you have not gone through Mathematics as one of the subject in 10+2 and have gone through Mathematics in Graduation, then you have to appear for single Mathematics Exam being conducted by NIOs and state open school board. You should have to complete this Exam before appearing for counselling of NIMCET Exam. |
