is amie recognized in other countries like USA,UK,Gulf Etc.?????????????????????????

Dear friend,
I would like to inform all the professional education(AMIE,AMIETE,AMI(Mech)I,AMI(C)I Etc..) aspirants that
as per the New Notification of Ministry of HRD,Government of India Dt : 10th Dec 2007 ,the courses conducted by such institute are equivalent to degree in Engineering of the recognized universities in India.
"But this Recognition is given only for the purpose of employment in central government".

This notification mean no recognition granted for overseas /private jobs,PG courses & others purposes..
Also, you may note that as per new rules the MHRD is not attesting the AMIE certificates for Overseas jobs. So if u r getting an opportunity outside the country on the basis of AMIE /AMIETE/AMIMechE etc. you will not be given permission by Govt. of India.

You can see that on IEI's official website all the older & new notification are attached except this one.!!

IEI should answer why they have not attached this notification on their website from last 3 years.??
IEI & other professional bodies should look into this matter seriously and take up this issue to Ministry of HRD for rectification.
Everybody should get alert otherwise this may heavily suffer the career/life of the student.

Does amie consider in germany for further study like M.E or M.tech?

Friends, AMIE is registered course before Indian Independence and still going on I have completed my Section - B this year and having a lot of faith in Indian System of Education , we need not to worry about anything because AMIE must get approval from MHRDA or AICTE , if in every state, every corners there are lot of Engineering college approved by AICTE then why not AICTE will give approval to so tough degree which completing by working employees . I am sure in coming justification on 24th April 2011 our Supreme court will surely approve this either thru AICTE / MHRDA for higher education as well as for job promotion cases.

Friends, please wait for sometimes before doing AMIE as the case is on court. If court will give decision against AMIE, then unnecessarily you will spend time and money.And one thing is very clear that AMIE officials are not serious about it

Dear Sir, I am doing my AMIE section B and working in abroad already.. But after completing AMIE i wanted to do some engineering master degree programmes. Pls suggest how is that possible.
