Eligibility For IES IES (Indian Engineering Service) Exams are held every year by the UPSC.. The following candidates are eligible for appearing in the IES exams :- 1) You should be a B.Tech degree holder or in the final year of your B.Tech in any of the following streams Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Electrical Engineering Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering 2) You should be in the age limit of 21-30 years for general category,21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 years for SC/ST The maximum number of attempts allowed for the general category is 4,for OBC its 7 and for SC/ST there is no limit.. So,yes..you are definitely eligible for appearing for IES.. As of now..the exact dates are not released so here are the tentative dates The forms shall be available in the first week of January and the last date of submission is around mid of February..
