My daughter has appeared +2 Exams. She is vey Interested to Serve the Country & wans to Join ARMY without UPSC Exams. What are the iptions available to her after 12th Arts as the results of 122th Board are expected on 27th this month. Also earliest procedure to get entry like eligibilty, carrers, procedures, term etc etc.

She can join and serve in every department of the army except the combat role and the departments like signal corps, teaching corps and the communication and intelligence wings are often recruiting the women. If she want to join she can opt for the WTES, (Women Technical Entry Scheme) in which can join after doing her college degree as an officer cadre.

Ther is one exam for girls to join army and i.e OTA.
It is just like CDS for boys and OTA for girls.

But to apply for OTA you should have to be graduation pass or sholud have a degree.

As there is not at present any procedure for girls to join Indian army after +2. But if she completed his degree then she's eligible for the SSC girls. In SSC exams girls are selected for short service commission and they are tested and selected there with this exam to join defence services as an officer.

Yes, your daughter can join the army for it she should appear for the NDA exam conducted by UPSC every year twice. There are different departments in which she can work.

Girls has the power to do any job and they are at par with boys. So she should definately join army if she interested.

BUT, the way you asked for solution is not fair. You know, It is not a simple thing to get selected in defence. THE MOST EMINENT, THE MOST INTELLIGENT AND THE MOST DEDICATED MAKE THEIR WAY INTO INDIAN DEFENCE SYSTEM - ARMY, NAVY, IAF, OR PUBLIC SERVICE(IAS,IPS etc) FOR THAT MATTER. So , the path to GET THERE will also very crucial and very tough. No ENTRY into good posts in defence can be made without UPSC AND SSC.

So, ADVICE YOUR CHILD TO PREPARE FOR THESE EXAMS AND NOT AVOIDING THEM. ASK HER TO PREPARE FOR UPSC AND SSC EXAM. IT’S IN YOUR HAND TO MAKE HER INTERESTED IN THESE EXAMS. FIRST MAKE HER A GRADUATE IN A GOOD FIELD. MAKE HER AN EMINANT OFFICER. WE, INDIANS NEED SUCH DEDICATED FEMALE OFFICERS FOR SURE. WE SURELY NEED HER IN SERVICE.

Girls have ample opportunities in Indian army. You have to pass the entrance exam like women technical entry scheme (WTES), OTA, .NDA or CDS.Along with the exams physical test has to be cleared by the candidate in order to join Indian Army. You can work in any section you want like communication and intelligence wings, teaching, medical etc…

there is of course a post for a girl in Indian Army.......the name of the post is Lieutinent..........and there are many other post also.so dont wry about that........for the time you can give entrance xams like NDA,CDS,etc......

Yes obviously there are various posts in Indian Army which is meant specially for the womens under the scheme Women Special Entry Scheme (WSES).

The WSES for officers offers non-technical, technical and specialist entry.

Elementary Eligibility :-
1) Candidate should be an unmarried females or issueless widow or divorcee candidates.
2)Age must be within 19 years to 27 years.

Eligibility for Technical entry :-
BE, B Tech or equivalent or a higher qualification in civil or electrical or mechanical or electronics engineering, computer science, telecommunications engineering and architecture is needed.

Eligibility for Specialist entry :-
Must have to acquire in any of the following -
a) Graduate B Sc with a minimum one-year diploma in computer science.
b) Graduate with a minimum one-year diploma in communication or journalism or public relations or psychology.
c) B E in remote sensing
d) P G degree in earth science/ computer science/ English/ geography/ maths/ physics/ computer applications/ botany/ zoology/ biochemistry/ organic chemistry or statistics.

Eligibility for Non-technical entry :-
a) B A, B Com, BCA, B Sc in physics, chemistry and maths with a minimum aggregate of 60 per cent and above marks.
b) students with 50 per cent marks and holders of NCC `C' certificates with `B' or higher grade can also apply in this category.

The eligibility criteria varies as per the post and commission.
For non-technical section NCC special entry scheme by SSC the age limit is 19-25 years. The age limit for technical section is 20-27 years.
The same trend you will find for most of the recruitment in indian army.

through UPSC exam, you can join in Indian army.

the criteria to attain in the UPSC exam is

Yes, womens can join army for officer’s training academy through ssc which is a non-technical course.
Unmarried women issuelesss widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees who have not remarried are eligible.
They should have born not earlier than 2 january, 1987 and 1 january 1993.
Educational qualification degree of a recognized university or equivalent.
The exam will be held on 13 february 2011 by UPSC.
