I am in 12th,i am good at drawing,i want to know that b.arch is best option for my future,tell me about b.arch career prospects,.
how to prepare for NATA ?

Till 12th students normally deal with drawing but Engineering Drawing is far different from Drawing.Engineering Drawing is much more advanced that students draw with the help of a drafter.The drawing is accurate and a slight movement can lead you to mistakes hence Engineering Drawing deals mainly about accuracy.

B.Arch has a good career prospectus as it is amongst the most demanding type of course that involves major dedication as well as commitment.The candidates have a chance to get themselves placed in various private as well as government based organization that works for the building of various projects.There are various foreign as well as well as national companies which recruit architects.Companies like L&T,DLF are the major companies which recruit architects.

In the last decade more than 100 architecture schools have come up, especially in south India. The realty boom and economic resurgence in Asia have created a big demand for trained architects.
A good architect must be proficient in engineering, aesthetics and management.
Apart from this, she/he must qualify the National Aptitude Test in Architecture-NATA, conducted by the Council of Architecture-COA that regulates universities and colleges offering the courses.

since you have shown your interest in B.arch then you must be aware with the techniques and sklls of engineering drawing.......
and must have found that this one is quite different from the normal one............
in such drawings one has to take keen care of the angles and inclusions..........
for getting admission into it you may give aieee exam for B.arch ,NATA,or you can try some private university like GGSIPU.......
it will also fetch you good colleges like SHUSHANT GROUP OF ARCHITECTURAL STUDIES............

Yes, B.Arch is good career option, but your criteria for selecting it is not sufficient.
Engineering drawing is very different from drawing & painting which you have done in your school till now.
You have to draw structure for building, flyovers , mega towers etc which requires high precision, a slight mistake can lead to collapse of structure.
Regarding future prospectus, there are lot of opportunities with high placement offers.

You can enter B.Arch by two ways:
AIEEE B.Arch paper
NATA exam

AIEEE is conducted in April/May for which forms are available in December , Jan & Feb.
Forms for NATA are available from April & available till september.

Both the exams measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability, that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

CAN I GET CAMPUS PLACEMENT IN B.arch FROM MANIT,M.P

B'arch is not a good career option just beacuse u draw well. The most important thing is u need to be creative and have design flair, drawing well is not essential as its just drafting using rulers and set squares or computer. To make a successful career u have to be really good, average or better than average wont be enough. In other fields like IT and finance etc, u can succeed if u are average but to succeed financially as an architect u have to be excellent at that.

I submitted the Aieee form in B.arch but i did n't much knowledge about it so can u guide me ,iam now preparing for intermediate exams.how can i prepare for my exams and what kind of the syllabus is came,top 10 colleges of B.arch.
