Being an engineer and a working professional how can I get myself into preparation for IPS exam?

I’m a B.E graduate with 2 years of experience in Mechanical field. My dream is to become an IPS officer and in between due to some family problems I couldn’t make it. Still I’m not settled even then this dreams not allowing me to sleep. I really wish to become an IPS Officer. What I have to do now? I’m working also. How can I get trained myself after my work with full dedication?
