Since you are a B.Tech graduate, it is better to go with M.Tech rather MBA. Generally both MBA and M.Tech have their own importances in providing good career opportunities. You have to notice one thing that,

>>> MBA course can be done by any Graduate (B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, B.E, B.Tech..)

>>> Whereas M.Tech can only be by B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (4 years Degree) Technical Professionals.

So Of course there would be less competition for M.Tech graduates in finding good number of jobs rather than Graduates who opt MBA. As you are in Final semester of B.Tech, I suggest you to prepare for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Entrance Examination for getting admission in Prestigious renowned Universities/ colleges for Admission into M.Tech course.

You can choose any of them as per your interest, both are specialized degrees and have value in their respective fields. Both M.Tech and MBA provide excellent career options and have gained importance in last few years. M.Tech or MBA is always an additional advantage to an engineer whether it is in terms of knowledge, experience or seniority.
Seeing the current industry trends, Core fields have very good career and job prospects and there would be requirements for both M.Techs and MBAs. The former would be more of a subject matter specialist, while the latter would handle product marketing, sales, project management and consulting or customer service management.

So, the choice is yours on which way you want to proceed. Make your choice and do your best! Good luck!
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
