hello frns as we all knw dat dis is period or recession so hw u all fl dat it is beneficial 4 a student 2 go for mba.whether it ensures dat future ll b gud engh..evrybdy can't get IIMs so if v select other institutes hw ll it b hlpfl?

market is coming back now,it is expected that till 2011 everything will be normal.
so,you can go for it.

If you have talent then why to think about recession,if you have talent then you will surely win recession does'nt matters.

MBA degree holders are getting jobs in india as well as foriegn countries and it mainly depends on your interpersonal skills and your ability to achieve things and you need not mind recessions because you must understand the fact that the graph of the world market cannot remain in the increasing scale forever for it is a triangular wave graph (ie.,) it has few years of highest turnover and a few years of less turnover and tis continues coz it cannot remain stable. But be cool and remember friend, talented ones are never affected by the recession and have evergreen jobs. So dont worry. Good luck.

Yes most of the colleges offer good campus recruitment , however there would be lot of difference in the selection procedure , coz first preference always given to those IIM guys .. there could be a slight difference in the initial stages , like pay and brand value , however once you start your career and prove yourself in your feild , u dont need to look back.
There are some highly rated mba colleges other than iims like,
IMS - Ghaziabad, ISB - Hyderabad, XLRI - Jamshedpur and IIPM...
But for this you should work very hard to get into these colleges...

if a student joins mba now he has not to worry because by the time he comes out of the college the markets will be booming again,
moreover an degree like mba is never an waste it is always going to help the student in some or other way

don't worry and join mba because ,even this recession period there is lots of demand for good people with business administration qualities because of shortage of liquid money,as the students are thought exactly same thing in mba ,they are the one who are going to have job for sure

during this recession time it is beneficial if one go for mba as at the time when the recession is over you can find a better job .......but now if you go for a job the it will be difficult for you and even if you get it the salary will be low and as soon as the recession is over you will get a competition from other guys who have done masters or mba .......

friend to clarify your doubt let us consider a comparison between the masters in the subject and doing a mba in same subject :
1. MBA is very must costly if u are financially good and you have very must interested in management then you can go head with the MBA
2. GATE is fully technical if u are very must interested in technical issue you can go head with the M-TECH
This is main question arise when we thing of doing higher studies. first coming to M-TECH doing M-TECH under the PGCET is waste i.e it comes under VTU university
because lots of problems in vtu. So the next thing of doing M-TECH is only by taking GATE exams its from iit and llsc Bangalore the best institution which will guide u in the better path and also this institutions will secure you're future for sure so if you thing of M-TECH thing of GATE.
Coming for the MBA examination the best thing doing MBA is only through cracking the CAT exam which is very difficult to CRACK it the most difficult exam to get into IIMS ones if u got through then you will be the future of management.
Finally coming to the conclusion whether i must do MBA or M-TECH
1. MBA is very must costly if u are financially good and you have very must interested in management then you can go head with the MBA

MBA is one such profession which is always in demand irrespective of the business cycle. Every company needs a manager to run successfully.

Suppose you take admission in MBA in the current year i.e. 2010. You will get MBA degree after 2 years i.e. in 2012. By that time economy will completely revive & there will be fresh demands for management professionals.

The worst has already happen. It will only get better with the passing of time. India is walking fast on the recovery path. Indian economy is expected to grow at 8 - 8.5% in near future. With the booming economy MNC's will start recruiting management professionals.

So, it is a wise decision to do MBA.

As you told right that every students can't get admission in IIM's but you can do MBA from other colleges also.

recession will not be there always. now a days mba is in great demand by all multinational companies. it is having tremendous scope but only when we do it from a good reputed college. CAT exam is there for giving exam in good college. so don,t worry. doing mba will only increase your expected salary. there is no disadvantage of it.

MBA is more beneficial for those who are trying to become expert in marketing field and those who are trying to become an business man they can develop their skill and attitude.
