sir,
I want to know what is the best way to give the exam i mean which is the best book useful to me to pass this exam? And sir what can i do for this exam so i can easily clear it? Sir i want to be a district collector Mr.AMITKUMAR So, please help me |

The best source of General Knowledge is the news papers. For someone who wants to be a district collector, you should already be doing this now. You can also check out the Manorama Year Book and the Competition Success Review. There are many good news channels too; follow them.

there is no specific books for preparing general knowledge. the best tool for general knowledge is the newspaper,follow some good paper like hindu regularly. you can read books like manorama and latest magazines. all the best |

actually only book is not sufficient for general knowledge. to become strong in general knowledge you should read newspaper daily and also you have to see news on television. you have to collect information from everywhere you will be able to collect.
you may read latest monoroma year book which is a best book for general knowledge. some other books are also available on market like G.K by made easy publication etc. you may read this books also. but i think after reading book remembering everything is very difficult. you can not remember 10% of the book after completion of one total book. so it is not a good choice to read book. just stay in culture of G.K, participate in quiz competition, watch some quiz competition, read newspaper daily, try to knoe the history and besides this read monoroma year book. these are sufficient to become strong in general knowledge. best wishes. |

I think for increasing general knowledge you must read newspaper on the daily basis. this will help you a lot more for increasing the knowledge on current awareness and affair. however if you want you to concerned books for general knowledge then i will recommend you to buy ARIHANT publication GENERAL KNOWLEDGE. or PRATIYOGITA DARPAN.
