In many top BCA colleges BCA eligibility criteria is as follows:

Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary ( 10+2) Examination of Indian Educational System, with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2.

However, the eligibility criteria varies from college to college. Some college do not require maths as a compulsory subject while others have different percentage criteria or even no percentage criteria.

Normally for any one who would like to pursue BCA course they should have studied mathematics as one of the subjects during 12th standard. But some college do allow otherwise. For colleges like Amity College of Computer Science in Noida, Purvanchal University in Uttar Pradesh, Apeejay Institute of Management and Information Technology in Delhi where is it compulsory to have studied Mathematics in 12standard. For some colleges like Delhi University, Andhra University along with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are also compulsory.

Eligibility criteria:
