which field is best for engineering? in which field job oppurtunities will be more and what will be the minimum salary

Mechanical field is the best field in engineering because so many goverment jobs are there in this field.Once you got a good rank in GATE then so many public sector fields wait for you...the importantg public sectors are
indian oil,hp gas,powergrid,gail,sail,aptransco,apgenco,steel plant etc..So if you have interest for doing engineering then choose the mechanical in best college,so this helps to your future.
