Sir,i got air 2028,score 508 in gate-2011 and i belongs to general category.which are the best institutes for my rank?

Dear friend you have done good scoring congrats.........but you are in general category that's why you will not get any seat in IIT............

But you should apply in all IIT,You have chance to get any NIT...........

But you can do apply in IIT also but there is so much rush in general that,s why you will not get any seat in IIT............

But you get any seat in NIT sure if you want to take admission..........

if you have time then you can give the exam next year that is better for you....

you should have mentioned your branch for an better and more precise reply,
any how by seeing your rank one can very easily say that you would not get an admission in the iits if you are an general category student,
you have chances of getting an admission in the nits ,so apply as early as possible and be prepared for the interviews
the notification of nit silchar has already come,i am attaching the application form of it,this may help you

according to your score....you can apply in NITs........and govt colleges.....ISm dhanbad.........try for NIT nagpur..last year GATE score cutoff is around 500.............
