i got 271 gate score and i belongs to sc category, is there any chances of getting admissions into iit's and nit's, or any colleges,please suggest me

For CS,EC,EE branch you dont have chance. But you have chance for nit's if you are from CE branch.

Hi,

Your GATE score is 271, which I think is way too low for you to get any seat in the IIT's or NIT's.

GATE : Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is the entrance exam for the M.Tech courses.

Now it is of maximum 1000 marks, out of which a candidate has to score a minimum 850+ marks, or more than 95 percentile.

As far as the SC/ST are concerned, the minimum marks that you must score is minimum 450+ to get admission in any of the good colleges.

For your reference, I am attaching a file which contains details about the previous years GATE Cutoff scores.
