Re: Which is better : MBA or M.Tech?
Both are different streams and have equal benifits. If you are graduate then you can go for MBA and if you are technical then you can do MBA as well and it will give you added advantage. M.Tech. is more beneficial because it has more demand in market becuase India is moving towards 100% education and lots of univeristies are opening hence demand for M.Tech. is growing day by day. There are many Management institute in Indian and there are tough compitition in market. Want to persue MBA go for best management institute.

Re: Which is better : MBA or M.Tech?
i think both are equally good .mtech will provide you with specilisation in your field while MBA will give your career a different direction i.e.administration ...so its you who have to decide what you want to do after 2 years of your post graduation

Re: Which is better : MBA or M.Tech?
Dear friend,
If you are interested in pursuing higher studies with what you have studied in your B.Tech course, then of course you should go with the M.Tech. Otherwise ,you can follow the MBA trend that is very attracting to the graduates from any stream. These two higher studies are totally different, as one is the extension of technical studies and another one is extension of commerce studies or you can say business administration studies. So now you can clear your confusion asking yourself what way you are interested in!! All the best!! |

Re: Which is better : MBA or M.Tech?
first of all it depends on ur interest about chosing mba r mtech.suppose if you are from mechanical engineering if you are intrested in mechanical and you wanted to continue the course in a detailed way then you select mtech.get the good score in gate and do mtech.if you dont have an interest on your branch what you have studied and you dont want to continue the same in a detailed fashion the other option is mba or ms.so go for mba then.if you have confident on you its no big deal to chose mtech or mba.just think once and go for anyone of it.dont waste the time in deciding that.i tlod a simple way.if you follow it will be nice for you.all the best

Re: Which is better : MBA or M.Tech?
Hello friend,
Selection of course must be based upon your interest and expertise. If you like the technical aspect of your subject and think you can do better, you must pursue M.Tech but if you want to step out of the technical area and like to study the administrative part, you can pursue MBA. As far as better option for the coming future is concerned, if you have got what you need for any of these courses, you will definitely do well in the industry. The future is very bright for those who are very professional and have 100% knowledge of the subject required to deal with. |

I feel, if you want to go into the corporate sector, and mix business & marketing with you BTech skills, you should go for MBA, otherwise MTech is well and good. |

According to me both are best for you. you can join any one of them in which your interest is more.
MBA- it is the business management courses. In this field you study about the business. M.tech- it is the technology stream in which you study about the technology. Now depend on you in which field you have more interest. all the best. |

Re: Which is better : MBA or M.Tech?
Dear Friend
Both streams are different and both have quality future prospectus. After Graduation it depends upon your degree i.e. If you are from Engineering background than you must have to prefer M.Tech or for all other Background you can prefer MBA. There's a great scope after Mtech. As day by day development in every area increases. So after some time it is sure that we need many specialized persons in their field and if we talk about monetary terms, than u got a very good salary package after your Mtech.Because every firm need some specialized Enggineers in their field to lead their Enggineer team and an Mtech person has higher weightage for this work.It is true that MBA is good but we can't hide our PG specialized Engginers because every Firm's need its backbone i.e their team of Engineer to strong enough for their profit's.So if anybody wanna to go for Mtech than do it because day by day u will find out how much imporatnce you have in a firm. The scope for a MBA graduate is unparalleled. Apart from attractive pay packets and placements being offered at college-level itself, it opens doors to various sectoral opportunities. The Indian Corporate world has seen many MBA professionals occupying top slots in the corporate ladder. Apart from Corporate careers, one can opt for entrepreneurship, work in co-operatives, NGO's as the opportunities are literally unlimited. Even when the industry goes through trends/fads, like the recent dot com fad, MBAs are the first in and among the first out, thereby reaping the benefits of a rising industry and the smartness of exiting to a different industry when the fall happened. This is due to the multi-dimensional, multi-tasking quality an MBA possesses. For example: A MBA with Finance specialization does not necessarily fare poorly when the industry hits the doldrums. He gets onto marketing of financial services (say, marketing of mutual funds or insurance products), thereby reducing career risk. Today, a Management Degree has become an attractive proposition, as there are attractive entry level salaries (including $ salaries offered by some MNC's) and typically, a Management Graduate gets absorbed into a Company through the Campus Placement Program of the Institute. The MBA Program offers a lucrative career option to both experienced professionals as well as fresh graduates. |

I think mtech is better as it has two optionals that is both on teaching and also you can join companies and you will be more perfect in the technical knowledge and presentation skills which will help you in all aspects. You will also get good salaries in the companies.
If we go with M.B.A the students who has done B.C.A also do the M.B.A courses. All the best.... Vidya |

MBA OR M.TECH -> This is the very key area where one have to think well and take a decision because it depends the future of yours. -> Now i just want to give the 3 key reasons for one to take either MBA or M.Tech which as follows.. GO FOR MBA because -> You have higher pay right after finishing your college and many number of job opportunities. -> Management graduates are given more preferences. -> It's widely needed for a student to be good in both technical and management skills. GO FOR M.Tech because -> You can increase your technical knowledge more which helps to explore more in future and also to get some good research oriented jobs. -> Helps you to be more knowledgeable in your field of study which is more needed in the corporate world. -> More pay and incentives for PG graduates when compared to UG graduates. -> Now the bottom line is go for the one which you are interested in, if you feel you are technically sound and can manage with the management skills then go for M.Tech with your course of study. -> If you feel you are not much of technical sound but good in soft skills then opt for MBA and strive hard in it because the competition will be more. -> Think well and take a good decision for sure you will shine in your future.. |

Re: Which is better : MBA or M.Tech?
This is a question that plays in the mind of every engineering graduate who decides to do his higher education. Both are beneficial courses. If you are someone who loved what you did for your B.Tech and has an urge to know more about your subject, then go for M.Tech. M.B.A is a course which equips yourself to be a business man or a manager of a company. After your M.Tech you can join some college as a lecturer or go in for research.

Re: Which is better : MBA or M.Tech?
Whether you do MBA or M.Tech, importance of your degree and availability of job options lies merely on how sound you are in your skills, technical knowledge etc. It comes mostly when the field is of your interest and the institute you select. So you have to decide whether you want to be in managerial role or as an engineer. Judge your interest and qualities first and then come to a final decision. Try for the good universities like UPES Dehradun, VTU, Anna University where you can get good placement opportunities.

Re: Which is better : MBA or M.Tech?
as you are a graduate in electronics and communications, if you are strong enough in your core subjects you may take M.TECH as an option. or else if you have good management skills in managing any situation then it is preferable to join in MBA. coming to top most colleges in the stream of MBA in mumbai they are as follows.
1)Audyogik Shikshan Mandal's (Institute of Management & Computer Studies) 2)MET institute of management 3)whistling woods international 4)Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JDBIMS) 5)JK institute of technology and management 6)NIS academy 7)Welingkars Institute of Management (We School) 8)The Mumbai Institute of Management and Physical Education (MIMPE) these are some of the most famous colleges in mumbai. now coming to CBEC you have jobs in it rarely. the recruitment takes place rarely. for further details the toll free number of CBEC can be used inorder to get the apt information.you need to attend the customs examination inorder to join in CBEC. Hi aspirant,
you can see that the b.tech is the technical degree and if you want to go for the further studies then you should go for the m.tech, because this is the master degree in the technical field. but if you are interested in the MBA course then this is also a very good course in these days. MBA is a master degree in the management field, and you will get the best job after doing this course. you have to clear the best entrance exams like the :- CAT MAT XAT SNAP GMET KMET etc. then you have to get the bet rank in these entrance exam, by this you will get the best management college in india like the IIM. you will have to study the best for cracking these entrance exams, some course and subjects i am mentioning here:- APTITUDE REASONING MATHS COMPUTER ENGLISH etc. Best of Luck… |
