RS Aggarwal Verbal Reasoning for English
RS Aggarwal Quantitative Aptitude for Maths
Hindu news paper for general knowledge

This is one of the toughest exams .So the candidates should have patience and excellent concept .There are so many book available in the market for SSc ,but few of those are important .

So the books for you -

1.For maths -

i)R.S.Agarwal
ii)DR.Lal and Jain

2.For reasoning -

i)R.S.Agarwal
ii)Marksman reasoning

3.Arithmetic Quantitative aptitude -

i)Surabooks
ii)Dr.professor

4.General Knowledge by -

Rajpoot Brotherhood

With those books you have to read news paper daily for the current affairs .

you can go for
1)quantitative aptitude by RS AGARWAL
2)verbal and non verbal by RA AGARWAL

you can go for any english materials for
practise

mostly go for previous papers so that you can get idea of any change that has done in pattern.
