IIT-JEE Exam that was conducted jointly by IITs is now renamed as JEE Advanced exam.

Upcoming Advanced Exam will be conducted on 2 June 2013.

And Notifications along with Offline Applications will be available from 8 May and onwards.

- For IIT JEE these are the few books which should be referred
Physics - NCERT and then Arihant
Chemistry - NCERT (A Must) and then Arihant
Maths - Ml Khanna or RD Sharma and then Arihant
After referring the above books you should also refer to the question papers which will help you to get an idea about the exam pattern. Also stickto the syllabus.
The books are easily available in a local bookstore. If not then you can buy it from the website of Arihant,NCERT.

For appearing in the IIT Joint Entrance Exam a candidate must fulfill following minimum eligibility criterion :

1) The candidate must have secured at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in their 12th boards..

2) They can appear either in the year of passing their 12th boards or in the very next year..
