There are lots of books available by different authors for GATE exam.

One problem is that If you go for standard authors Books They are not in detailed and high Complex standard, low standard books are not in depth.

Most prefer GK publication books but It has lots of mistakes and no proper solution.

best thing is you can get all materials for ME from any coaching Institute for 4000 to 6000 rupees including mock test papers and practice papers.

The collage academic books are enough for guidance of subject.

For aptitude R S AGARWAL Is a famous one.

Eligibility;-

---you must be passed B.tech degree from a recognized university/appearing in final year

-----There is no age limit is for GATE exam.
