NET stands for the National Eligibility Test. this exam is conducted for the two types of post that is JRF and Lecturer post two times in the years.....

This exam is conducted by the University Grant Commission....

A candidate who have completed their Post Graduation degree in any field can apply for this examination.....

A candidate must have secure at least 55% in their PG study, For SC/ST candidate are applicable with 50% also...

Age for JRF should not exist 28 years, for Lecturer post no upper age limit......

Relaxation for OBC/SC/ST 5 years on upper age applicable.....

Gyan UGC NET English study material is good....
I qualified the exam in the new objective mode. I referred Gyan notes.. Just 15 days before the exam. But that was enough... They hav prepared the notes in such a way tht we dnt have to jot down main points and make separate notes for ourselves.... we can just flip d pages and learn... These notes are sufficient I think.

What is the price of the total pack?

Sorry to say this but the books mentioned above are just common and not very reliable. The better books for UGC NET english are some Like ....History of ENG. Lit by Compton and Ricket, Objective books by atlantic publisher .....

Best book for english literature for ugc net exam...please tell me..

I ordered study notes from Gyan institute and I wrote the previous net exam. It was ok for me . I wud say its unique. Its a bundle of points and easy to remember too... Hopefuly waiting for results.

Books by David Daiches is good, and Edward Albert History is also gud. I have read both. need to prepare notes wen we read those sort of books... takes hel of a time. so i bot some study material from various institutes. Books from gyan is the better one among them. traces history with all necessary points.
