Hii there....as per engineering is concerned..there is too much scope today as well as in the near future. Some of the Engineering branches with more job aspects in the future are:-
1. Civil Engineering
2. Biotechnology(its becoming a very popular field day by day...and is a mix. of engineering & technology, also gvs space fr biology students)
3. Chemical Engineering(comprises the application of physical and biological sciences to the process of converting raw materials or chemicals into more useful or valuable forms)
4. Applied Engineering(The application of management, design, and technical skills for the design and integration of systems, the execution of new product designs, the improvement of manufacturing processes, and the management and direction of physical and/or technical functions of a firm or organization.)
5. Genetic Engineering(a vry vast field...which has applications of Biology as well as Technology, is a research scale providing remedies for Mutations, Genetic diseases like Thalessemia, etc)
6. Biomedical Engineering(the application of engineering principles and techniques to the medical and biological sciences)
7. Mechanical Engineering(comprises the design, analysis and usage of heat and mechanical power for the operation of machines and mechanical systems.)
8. Electrical Engineering(comprises the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism.)

As i know all the branches in engineering have good job opportunities if you have good knowledge in your field.

what IS THE SCOPE OF IT(b.tech) IN NEAR future...???

Most of the goverment sector companies or PSU's are engaged in core engineering fields
like Power, metal, heavy engineering, oil, refineries etc.
So you should select core engineering branche for BE like Electrical or Mechanical.
You can even select Electronics & Telecommunication.
But if you select IT or Computer science you will have very limited chances
in Goverment sector or PSU companies as a limited no. of IT manpower is required in these
companies compared to Mechanical or electrical engineers.
