Both are different fields. First think whether you have an inclination towards IT subjects or Naval archotechture. Try studying what exactly these course contain and on that basis decide what you want to join
As far as i know both are equally equally good but Naval arch has a upper hand here |

Re: BSC IT or Btech in Naval Architecture? Which one is a better course?
Hello friend,
Both the courses were good and the institution were also good. But i would like to suggest you must go for B.Tech. Since you have got less percentage in 12th you can't manage B.sc rather than B.Tech. From my knowledge mumbai university is quite tough for B.sc. students. Rarely a student manage 60%. But B.Tech from ima makes the good percentage in your engineering, which helps you to get any good jobs. So take a good decision for your career and opt for B.Tech. Good luck!!!! |

BE/BTech is MUCH better than Bsc when it comes to good jobs and salary . also , career growth will be much faster . in Bsc , you can get a variety of jobs , but most of them will be worthless . also , if you consider MBA , BE/BTech is preferred over other branches . in my opinion , you should consider BE/BTech . you may have to spend an extra year studying , but it's worth it.. I will choose Btech for ur career |

Re: BSC IT or Btech in Naval Architecture? Which one is a better course?
BSc (IT) will offer jobs but it will be limited and the salary will also be not so high. But if you do post graduation you can get many opportunities. B.tech (naval architecture) will offer many jobs even if you do not opt for PG.But it depends on you, to choose. Choose the course in which you are most interested.

Re: BSC IT or Btech in Naval Architecture? Which one is a better course?
buddy don`t compare bsc crap with naval architecture. with the percentage you have you will never get admission in any good btech colleges. even if you managed to get into any btech college btech naval architecture is out of your league. I am a naval architect graduated from cochin university and was the first rank holder in the batch at the time of joining. the admission for my batch closed at CUSAT CAT rank 56.
There are only four genuine institutes which has full time naval architecture courses. 1) Cochin University Of Science & Technology (Department of Ship Technology) 2) IIT Karaghpur 3) IIT Madras 4) Andhra University bye good luck |
