I would like to know more about CUSAT's Naval architecture Course. How can i apply for it?? Can i join the course through CUSAT Entrance exams?? Pls answer me.....

CUSAT offer naval architecture courses through its Department of Ship Technology.

The B. Tech (Naval Architecture and Ship Building) course is a regular full time course offered by the university. The annual fees for the programme is Rs. 11658/-

Admission to the B. Tech (Naval Architecture and Ship Building) course is through CUSAT common admission test (CAT).

Eligibility:
Pass in Plus Two examination of the State of Kerala or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto with a First Class securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics as well as for Mathematics as well as for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.

how to become a naval architect after completing 2?

My son is in Indian Naval Academy studying 10 2 B.Tech Course from Jan.2011. He is also appear for Naval Architecture at cusat on 2nd Aptil,2011. What is the type of training he will have if he selected for Naval Architecture and will he undergo the same training as in Indian Naval Academy,Ezhimala ? which is the better option between 10 2 B.Tech in Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and Naval Architecture cusat ? pl. give details about Naval Architecture.

dear aspirant, your rank seems to be eligible for ur choice.but this also depends on the marks you have obtained in indivisuals of PCM in CAT2011
