NDA or NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY is a defense service academy which recruit candidates after 12th and defense services is one of the best services of india and much reputed too. Officers engaged in certain defense services are respected everywhere in the country and in india,there are a total of 3 defense services as follows : --Indian army --Indian air force --Indian naval forces To appear for NDA exam,which is conducted by UPSC commission of india ,you must have to satisfy certain eligibility conditions regards : --educational qualifications --age limit --nationality --marital status --sex --physical criteria etc. Eligibility criteria : 1.Educational qualification : --for indian army : you must have passed 12th from science stream,no matters what are the subjects with a minimum aggregate of 55-60% marks.. --for indian naval/air force : you must have passed 12th with physics and mathematics as core subjects. 2.Age limit : you must be within 16.5 to 19 years. 3.You must be indian. 4.You must be unmarried. 5.Only males are eligible. 6.You must satisfy certain physical conditions as height or weight etc. best of luck !! |

Hi dear..
Yes, a science students can apply for NDA, as per eligibility criteria, there is no minimum percentage required and there is no maximum no. of attempts allotted. NDA is conducted by UPSC twice every year. As you are a Science student, having Physics and Mathematics in +2, you are apply for all the three streams in NDA ie Army, Air Force and Navy. The eligibility criteria is as follows :- > You should have passed +2 from any recognized board/University. > You should be Indian citizen. > You should satisfy completely all the physical standards specified as per your stream. > Your age should be between 16 to 19 years.
