To join NDA one must pass the NDA entrance examination.

To give NDA entrance test candidate must have passed at least 10+2 or equivalent exam from some recognized board or university. Students appearing for these exams are also eligible to sit in NDA entrance exam.

Candidate must have subjects physics, chemistry and maths in class 10+2 board examination. The aggregate marks in 10+2 board exam in PCM must be equal 70% or above.

Below these requirements candidates are not eligible to join NDA.

Along with the passing certificate, you also require an aggregate 70% or above marks in physics, chemistry and maths in 10+2. You need to be a science student in 10+2 otherwise you are not eligible to join NDA.

Commerce student can apply for NDA entrance examination.

N.D.A National Defence Academy Examination.

Union Public Service Commission hold the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination twice in a year.

For N.D.A,the candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized board or equivalent examination and applicants who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the examination.

There is no percentage required for this examination.

The N.D.A consist of Army,Navy,Air force.

For Air force and Navy :- the candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized board or equivalent examination with physics and mathematics.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination.

Candidate must have completed his/her 12th with physics,chemistry,maths subjects and

should have atleast 70% aggregate marks. Then he/she needs to appear for the written

test and interview and the selection is made on the basis of that.

Educational qualification needed for NDA -
1.12th from any recognized board.
2.12th with PCM.
3.final year students of 12th PCM also can apply .

So there is no percentage requirement 1n 12th for NDA exams. But to join NDA you have to be in between 16.5 to 19 years and extremely physically fit .Your vision should be 6/6 .

If you have all of those then you can apply for NDA .

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in every year for which the
eligibility should be;

> you should be 12th with minimum 60% marks with PCM stream
> if you apply for Army Wing then you should be 12th with 60% in any
discipline.....
> your age should be between 16 1/2 -19 years

as you crossed your age limit so you can not apply for NDA exam...

but don't worry about that, after graduation you can apply for CDS
exam to join Indian Army....

Educational qualifications:- For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 cadet entry scheme of the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or a university
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

The NDA exam is held every april.

The minimum requirements to appear for NDA is that you should have secured atleast 60% in your 10+2.

You should have Physics Chemistry and Maths as your subjects.

And then if you qualify or clear the NDA exam, you would have to pass a SSB Interview, a physical test and then you are through.

I wanted to clear up your doubt that how much percentage you should get in 12th class?
It does not matter wether you had scored good marks in your 12th class or not.
ya but you should pass 12th class!
after passing 12th class there is a test conducted by UPSC for the candidates interested to join INDIAN ARMY. in that test there are tw opapers: MATHS & GENERAL ABILITY TEST.
MATHS test include all the questions based on your 11th & 12th standerd! you should pass thais exam to go forward! hten in GENERAL ABILITY test the questions are based on Physics,Chemistry,Current Affairs.
For this yuo should preparre well jst by watching daily news papers. stay updated to current affairs.
thats the simple procedure to face the exam and to get through it. i u passed in both the exams then you will be called for interview fir SSB.

To join NDA One must passed the 12th class with at least Ist division i.e 60-70% marks with physics,chemistry & maths subjects.

There is no specific percentage required to enter the prestigeous insitute of NDA.
the requirement are:

Minimum Height :-

Army wings :- Acceptable height is 157.5 cms .

Navy wings :- Acceptable height is 157 cms .

Air force :- Acceptable height is 162.5 cms .

Chest should be well developed. Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms.

Additional Requirements :-
-----------------------------
-Running : 2 to 4 Km. in 15 minutes
-Skipping
-Pushups : Minimum 20 each Sit-ups
-Chin ups : Minimum 08
-Rope Climbing : 3 to 4 meters.

You have to pass 12th examination from a recognized School or equivalent qualification and those who are appearing in the final year of 12th exam may also eligible to apply .

You must have a minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years and there is no relaxation given to the reserved categories . Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply .

Yes you are eligible to write NDA exam after completion of your 12th.

My dear friend for applying in the NDA examination you need to clear your 12th with PCM i.e Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics. There is no percentage limitation.
the other rules are that the age of the appearing candidate should be between 16.5-19 years.
The appearing candidate must be an Indian.
He should fulfill the requirements specified in the NDA brochure. You can see them on the website of UPSC i.e www.upsc.gov.in.
