There is no standard set by the union public service commission regarding the percentage of marks secured in the +2 level of exams. Qualifying +2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Maths is enough to be eligible for the NDA exam.
No matter how much you scored , if you have qualified it and if you are within the age limit of 16 1/2 years- 19 years, you are eligible for NDA exam.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC.

Those candidate have completed 12th standard with above 50% are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Next NDA exam will be conduct in the month of February.

Form will be distributed in the month of December.

Age :you must be within 16.5 to 19 years.
Nationality:Indian.

NDA (National Defense Academy) examination was Conducted by UPSC Twice in a year and for this year NDA (I) and NDA (II) Both the examination was already completed. To apply for this examination Candidates have to completed his 12Th examination form a recognised board, Final year 12Th candidates are also apply for NDA Examination.

>> Eligible candidates may apply for any one of the Wings - Army Wings, Air Force Wings and Naval Wings.

Information Regarding NDA Examination.

National Defence Academy (NDA) examination is conducted by the UPSC in every year for the admission in the Indian Navy, Indian Army and Air Force wing of the NDA. This examination is conducted twice in every year once in the month of April and other in the month of August. To appear in the NDA examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = Pass 12th board exam from a recognize board or university. The 12th board exam appearing student are also eligible to apply for the NDA examination.

Age Limit = The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years at the time of appearing of this examination.

So, there are no any limit percentage required to appear in the NDA examination. Only pass the 12th examination is enough to appear in the NDA examination. If you can satisfy all of the above you are eligible.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:

NDA stands For National defense Academy .

NDA Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commision twice in a year for the recruitment of candidates in three wings of Indian defense namely Army Wings, Naval academy and Air Force Academy.

In my opinion , there is no such limitations on the minimum percentage you require in 12th by the UPSC in order to be eligible for the exam.

So you need not to worry for the percentage criteria as the last thing that you want that you must have passed your 12th examination from any recognized board.

The Other criteria that you require for the examination are :

* You must be a citizen of India.

* You must be an unmarried male.

* Your age must lie in between 16.5-19 years.

* You must be physically and mentally fit for the exam.

You want to join the Indian Army,through NDA examination, I appreciate it. Minimum percentage required only for applying in INDIAN AIR FORCE & NAVY ACADEMY,. For applying in Indian Military Academy (IMA), just have to pass in class 12th.

NDA stands for, NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, through which one can apply in all the combatant branches of Indian Army like --

There is percentage criteria in 12th foe application to NDA.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

NDA Exam Details:-

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. To enter this academy you need to sit for an examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice a year-in April and September. If you choose AFA then you would be administered for the pilot aptitude battery test too. On getting selected you need to stay in the academy for the training period for three years. Army Wing: To enter this wing you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate.

Air Force and Naval Wing: To enter this wing you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate too. But in addition to that you need to have physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.

Selection Procedure: You need to go through the following stages of selection: 1) Written Examination, 2) Personality Test and 3) Medical Test by SSB.

Exam Pattern:

1. Mathematics-300 marks (2.5 hours)
2. General Ability Test-600 marks (2.5 hours)

The General Ability Test can be further sub-divided into the following categories: Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography and Current Events.

National Defense Academy (NDA) allows only male candidates to apply for the NDA entrance exam. Candidates who desire to join the Army wing of the NDA must have a pass in class 12 or its equal from any subject stream . upsc has not particularly mentioned about the +2 level percentage...better to mainatain minimum of 60% in all the levels...

For NDA Examination there is no percentage limit mentioned in the notification.

Only 10+2 pass is required for NDA Examination. Hence don't worry about anything and start preparing for NDA Examination.

Just take care that your age is between 16.5 to 19 years and you are a Indian Unmarried male.

So if you fulfill above criteria then apply for NDA Examination when the notifications are announced by UPSC.

There is no specified limit for the percentage criteria needed in sitting in the NDA exam. all you need is to be a undergoing 12th class student. There is no requirement for the specified subjects in the army and the navy wing, but you need to be having physics and mathematics as your main subjects in class 12th in order to appear for the air force wing. Moreover, there is the age criteria which says that your age should not be less than 16.5 years and not more than 19 years in order to sit in the exam. for more details, you can log onto the website
