Can a B.Com (general) candidate apply for B.Ed degree course?
I have completed my B.Com but not in Honours. I did from General category. So, now am I eligible to apply for B.Ed degree course in Calcutta under Calcutta University?

B.Ed stands for bachelor of education it is a teacher training degree course of 2 years for which the minimum education required age a bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognised university.
So, having completed your bachelor's degree( i.e; B.Com general degree ) course you are eligible to pursue B.Ed degree course if you have managed to secure at least 50% marks as their is no compulsion of honours degree. |

You are eligible to get admission in B.Ed course.
B.Ed is Bachelor in Education and is two year course. Candidate passed degree in any discipline with minimum 50% are eligible to appear in examination to get admission in B.Ed course. So, you are eligible to appear in examination to get admission in B.Ed course. |
