Dear friend yes you are eligibile to apply IAS exam after complete BBA degree.

Becaus the minimum eligibility criteria for apply IAS exam is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized Universty.


Age limit is 21 to 30 years for Genarl category candidates.

3 years age relaxation for OBC category candidates.

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.


So friend do not worry you are eligible to apply IAS exam being a BBA student.

upsc requires any graduation so u can apply for upsc. all you wanted to have is strong dedication and hard work as there is tough competition

BBA students can apply for IAS as it just requires graduation.

The UPSC has not notified any syllabus but are expecting no change in the existing syllabus. The IAS Preliminary Test will be held on 24.08.2014.

IAS Prelims Syllabus

IAS prelims have following two parts, each part consist of 200 marks

General Studies Paper I: 100 questions
General Studies Paper II: 80 questions
