Respected sir/mam
I am prsuing Bsc(it) from SMU through distance learning at Central IT Collge,Guwahati(Assam).I had 60% marks in Maths and 58% in aggregate at my 10+2 science stream examination.Am i eligible for JNU MCA entrance exam n where will i get the application form

Eligibility for MCA:

1) 50% marks with maths in 12th.

2) 50% aggregate marks in graduation with maths as one of the subject.

JNU also conduct an enterance test, so one have to clear the test too.

jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) conducts every year a separate entrance examination

for admission to its MCA entrance. MCA course of Jawaharlal Nehru University is very

popular amongst the candidates who want a career in IT industry.


Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years from a reputed Institute

with at least 55 % aggregate marks in Graduation as well as adequate competency in

Mathematics at Graduation or at +2 levels.

Yes you are eligible for JNU MCA exam .
Eligibility Criteria:55%marks .
Availability of Application forms:
Application forms for JNU’s MCA course will be available at the university and also through post by sending a demand draft along with the request for form and a self addressed envelope.

Eligibility for JNU MCA Admission 2011 :
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with adequate competence in Mathematics under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 55% marks.

Entrance Syllabus in JNU 2011 : 10+2/Graduate level Maths, Graduate level Computer Science and General Aptitude.

some of the eligibility criteria for JNU MCA are as follows..

--- person who have done BBA,BCA, or BTECH can apply for that..
--students who have finished their graduation in science can also apply..
--there is no age limit for that..
--even foreign students can apply for that with their passports..

eligibility for JNU MCA entrance exam is;

-a candidate should have maths in his/her 12th standard with minimum
50% marks

-a candidate should be a graduate with 50% in maths or BCA or with any
subject but atleast one subject with math

if you are eligible then you will have to submit a form for JNU entrance exam
which generally comes in march and exam helds in may or june.....

there are only 30 seats for MCA in jawaharlal nehru university

jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) MCA Entrance Exam
Jawaharlal Nehru University carries out a national level entrance exam for all the MCA aspirants known as JNU MCA Entrance Exam. The MCA course from JNU is popular across the nation and is a good platform for the IT career aspirants. The qualified students of JNU MCA exam will get the opportunity to study in School of Computer & Systems Sciences of Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Structure and Pattern of JNU MCA Entrance Exam

· Graduation in any stream from recognised university with minimum of 50% marks in final exam

· Candidates should have studied mathematics as a core subject during the Bachelors program or at higher secondary level.

· Candidates should be an Indian national with at least 21 years of age

· Suitable Reservation is given to the reserved category students as per the norms of the government

· Students who are appearing in their final year of qualifying exams can also apply JNU MCA Test 2012 provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.
