No you cannot apply for IAS as
for IAS exam as any Graduate from a recognised university or a college in India is the minimum eligibility criteria for IAS. SO you need to complete your graduation to apply for IAS. He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination. UPSC conduct CIVILSERVICE exam for top service like IAS,IPS,IFS and for other government jobs.Even this onwards the pattern of exam also changed as it doesnot have any special subject and the paper will be same for all the candidates. |

I Think Diploma Students Are Not Eligible for IAS Exams Because To Appear In This Exams You Need A Bachelor’s degree of a Recognized University with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry And Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an Equivalent Qualification.
And To Appear In This Exams You Must have attained The Age Of 21 years And not Attain The Age of 30 years. So, If You Have A Diploma Students, Then You Can Not Apply for IAS Exams, To Appear In IAS Exams You Need A Bacholar Degree. |

Sorry Brother the minimum eligibility for IAS i.e. UPSC CSE
is GRADUATION from a recognized university.. with provisional eligibility to final year graduation students... subject to condition that they present proff of passing prior to mains exam. So i would suggest that you complete your graduation from a recognized university And then you will be eligible. Also you must be b/w 21 to 30 years of age (general +% years relaxation for SC/ST) maximum no of attempts is 4 for general 7 for OBC and no limit for sc/st) visit:http://www.Upsc.gov.in http://www.onestopias.com/eligibility-criteria.asp |

As per the eligibility criteria it is a must that the candidate should be a graduate. Also the candidate's age should be at least 21years. Since you are diploma holder you will not be eligible for the same. You need to complete your graduation first. If you are diploma holder in any of the engineering streams then you join directly the second year of engineering through lateral entry. Also you can do complete your graduation in any stream of your choice.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for the IAS examination.
For IAS, you have to go through a civil services examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year. In order to be eligible for this exam, one should have completed graduation from a recognized university as per academic qualification. In addition one should be in the age group of 21-30 years. Anyway there is relaxation in the age for the candidates of other categories. As you have completed just diploma, it will not be considered as a graduation degree. From that point you are not eligible to appear for the IAS exam. I would suggest you to complete your graduation first and then to apply for the exam |

sorry to say bu friend you are not eligible for the IAS exam after only completing the diploma. because after the diploma you have to become the graduate student from the recognized indian university.
i think if you secure good marks in the last year of the diploma then you will get direct admission into the B.E/B.TECH offering engineering college. after completing the graduation you will become eligible to give the IAS exam. there are three steps of the exam 1) preliminary exam 2) main exam 3) interview these 3 exams are dependent of each other . it means that you must secure the descent marks in preliminary exam to appear in the main exam. and score again best marks in main exam to appear for the interview. for giving the exam your age must be between 21 to 30 years. you can give this exam on the final year of your graduation . for more information about the ias exam and upsc services kindly visit the website www.upsc.gov.in thanks and best luck |

No you can't dear as you do not satisfy minimum educational qualification for IAS and as i think you must not even be eligible as per your age.
For IAS exam minimum eligibility criteria is Graduation from a recognised university or a college in India. Nationality should be Indian. Age limit: -21-30 years for general category. -21-33 for OBC -21-35 for SC/ST candidates. Whats the hurry you first complete your graduation further in the subject of your choice. You can take admission in BE/B.Tech Also in the mean while keep on preparing for IAS.Its not a one night or a months thing. It requires a lot of determination, confidence and most important is patience. Its good you have decided early. So you can choose your subjects for IAS for a start and try to gain as much knowledge as you can about it. You can visit: http://www.upsc.gov.in |
