can a 11th class student appear in IIT-JEE exam this year??
i wanna appear for this.

No you are not eligible to appear this exam now. Minimum 12th qualification is a must to apply. You can appear for the exam in 2013 provided you complete 12th by the time the results for the exam is declared. This is the apt time for you to begin your preparations for the exam. You can try attempting the past papers to know your level of preparation.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for IIT-JEE exam because you are now in 11th standard .But you are eligible for IIT-JEE in next year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IIT-JEE :-

1.The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board with physics ,chem and math.

2. You must score 60% above in 12 th.

If you fulfill the above criteria then you are eligible for IIT JEE.

AGE CRITERIA:-

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

IIT JEE SCHEDULE:-

Form availability - 11th November, 2011

Last date for submitting form – 5th December, 2011

Availability of online forms for IIT JEE 2012 – From 11th November 2011 to 10th December 2011

IIT JEE 2012 date – 8th April, 2012 (Sunday)

IIT JEE 2012 Result declaration date – 16th May, 2012

So you are eligible for 2013 IIT JEE EXAM.

Cost of the IIT JEE form-

For GENERAL and OBC-1600
For SC and ST -800

You are not eligible yet, for appear in the IIT-JEE[INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY-JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION] exam, this years.

This is the engineering entrance examination for offering B.TECH degree in one of the most reputed technological institutes,.

For apply in this examination, you must have 12th degree from a recognized board with subjects PHYSICS , CHEMISTRY,& MATHS [PCM] .
you must have scored at least 60% in PCM .

The age limit for this examination is 17-25 years.

There are only two consecutive years are given to the candidates for apply in this examination [JEE] with the passing year of 12th.

The forms are available on the counter only of 11 November. The closing date for registration is online 10 December. The last date of registration will be offline on 15 December if the form is sent.

No my friend , 11th class student is not eligible for IIT-JEE exam..

For appearing in IIT-JEE exam one has to be in 12th class..

So, next year when you will be in 12th class then you can appear in IIT-JEE exam..

Prepare for the exam till then..

sorry my friend you cannot appear in IIT-JEE exam unless you pass your 12th with 60% in it...so you have wait for 1 year atleast.

I am sorry to say that 10th class student is not eligible for the IIT-JEE exam.
The candidate who studying /passed the 12 with physics, chemistry and maths. are eligible in IIT-JEE exam.

Hi friend,

You have to choose science stream for completing eligibility for IIT-JEE Examination. Also you must choose physics , chemistry and maths as subjects, because IIT-JEE is based on these subjects . Syllabus of IITJEE involves PCM topics of 11th class and 12th class.

Eligibility for IIT-JEE Examination
Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized board or equivalent.
Student should have secured at least 60% marks in 10+2 examination for being eligible.
Student should have PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND MATHS as compulsory subjects for appearing in IIT-JEE.
Only two attempts will be allowed .

sorry you are able to appear in iit of this year, for iit you must pass 12th or appear 12th,
so when you are in 12yh than you are able to gat iit paper.

i am repeating class 11 for my base toget stronger but i badly want to appear iit-jee the same year to test my skills will i be able to do this or not
