can a girl join air force after 10th...what are the courses for it?

Hi,

After graduation a girl can join Air Force. if you are intrested in Air force then you have to apply Air Force Common Admission Test(AFCAT).
AFCAT exam is conducted to join Air Force.

In Air force you can join course of Flying,Technical and Ground duty branches. eligibility criteria are different for these courses.

Eligibility criteria for Flying Branch-

your age should between 19-23 year.
you should have Physics and Maths in 12th.
In graduation you should have 60% marks.
you should have minimum 16.5cm height.

For Technical Branch-

your age should between 18-28 year.
you should have Aeronautical engineering branch in graduation.

For Ground Duty-

your age should 20-23 year.
you should have graduation.
should have min. height 152cm.

And candidate should have complete the 12th standard to eligible for the Indian Air force.

To join the Indian Air force you can crack the NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Acedemy.

This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year.

NDA -II

NDA has three wings:

Indian Air force

Indian Army

Navy

Eligibility Criteria:

You should be Indian.

You should complete the 12th standard from recognized state board of India.

PCM subjects are required for the Indian Air force & Navy.

There is no percentage required for this exam.

Your age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

No upper age relaxation is applicable for the other categories.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam.

Female candidates are not eligible for this exam.

Girls can join the Air Force only after Graduation and through a selection process. There is no entry for girls or the boys at 10th level; Only boys can join Defence Services through UPSC conducted exam in NDA

Dear Aspirant,

Yes even girls can join the AIR force Wing.

For that you need to have passed in the 10th or 12th.

For the 10th girls there are a limited number of chances but where as if you do the 12th or Degree.

You have a very good chances of getting a good jobs in the area of air force India.

So if have passed 12th or degree you have more chances when compare with the 10th passed student.

So my suggestion to you is to go for the 12th or degree.There is no special course for joining into the Air force directly.

There is a exam called NDA exam.Through these exams you can enter into these jobs.

Iam sorry to say this girls can not eligible for Indian Airforce after completion of 10th or 12th standard, but after completion of Graduation girls are eligible for Indian airforce. So first complete your graduation then after apply for the CDS(Combined Defence Service) examination, which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year. The details about this exam are given below.


CDS has four wings:-

Indian airforce academy,

Indian naval academy,

Indian military academy,

Officers Training Academy.


Eligibility details:-

The candidate should be complete graduation or any bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

Final year graduation students are also eligible.

Percentage is not a matter to apply this examination.

Applicant should be an Indian origin.

Applicant should be physically fit.

Male and Female both are eligibe for the CDS examination.


Age criteria:-

The age limits for Indian Airforce 19 to 23 years,

The age limits for Indian Naval academy 19 to 22years,

The age limits for Indian Military academy 19 to 24 years,

The age limits for Officers Training Academy 19 to 25 years.

Girls are not eligible for Indian Air Force after 10th and 12th class. Girls need to pass Graduation to join Indian Air Force.

Also opt for Science with Maths stream in 10+2 then only you can join Indian Air Force as an officer after Graduation.

You must be from Physics and Maths field to become eligible for Officer's post in Indian Air Force.

For Joining Air Force academy your age should be between 19 to 23 years.

The selection will be purely based on the performance in the Objective Type Paper, SSB Interview and Medical examination.

You have to be really well prepared to crack these examinations and physical fitness is the uppermost criteria. If you are found unfit then you will be rejected during medical examination.

I am sorry to say that after passing 10th you can not join Indian Air Force.

If girl want to join Indian Air Force she have to pass graduation with Phyisc, chemistry and Maths.

After passing graduation she have to qualify the entrance exam conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

The exam is known as Combined Defence Services.

C.D.S exam is for three Defence services:-
> Indian Air Force
> Indian Army
> Indian Navy

Age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-25 year.

There are three stage of selection:-

first of all i want to confirm you that no one even male candidates cannot join Indian Air Force after passing the 10th exam.

This is because the minimum qualification required to join Indian Air Force is you must have completed Higher Secondary [10+2] with PCM from any recognized board.

In addition, Girl candidates are no eligible to appear for the NDA Exam through which candidates can join Indian Defense after completing 12th.

So, if you want to Join Indian Air Force, then you have to complete graduation first so that you can appear for the Combined Defense Services Exam.

This Exam is also conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice every year.
