Female candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination because this examination is only for male candidates.

NDA Stands National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year.This year NDA I notification was already released and the examination will be held on 15.04.12.

Minimum Qualification for this examination is intermediate(12th) examination from a recognized School or equivalent qualification and final year of intermediate(12th) may also eligible to apply for this examination.This examination is conducted for recruitment of Army wings,Navy wings and Air force.

Air force eligibility :-

The candidate need to completed intermediate(12th) examination or equivalent qualification from a recognized School or equivalent qualification and the candidate must have a physics and mathematics in their examination.Those who are pursing in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for NDA examination.

The candidate age should be between 16.5 years and 19 years and Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination but there is no chances for female candidates to apply for NDA examination.

NDA II notification will be publish in the month of June in the official website of Union Public Service Commission as well as employment news paper may also eligible.

Sorry to say this girls are not allowed for Indian army after +2 , if they are interested they can apply after graduation in any stream.

dear friend,
Being a girl, after completion of 12th class you will not be able join in Indian defense..

Because after completion of 12th class to join in Indian defense one has to qualify in NDA exam, and only male candidates are eligible for the exam..

So, to get a job in Air force you have to complete the graduation course first..
After completion of graduation course girls can apply for the flying branch in Air force wing through Women Short Service commission scheme..
Girls can also apply for the technical branch in Air force through engineering knowledge test, in that case you have to complete your graduation in engineering field.

So, without wasting your time , go for the graduation course..

Sorry friend,being a girl candidate you are not allowed to join in the Indian Air Force.To join in this defense service you must write the NDA(National Defence Academy) examination.This exam will be conducted by UPSC two times in every year.

-->You must be a citizen of india.
-->Your age should be between 16.5 to 19years.
-->Your education qualification should be 12th class from a recognized board.
-->You must be a unmarried male candidate.
-->You must be physically fit and mentally strong.
As a female candidate, you are not eligible to write the NDA exam.

I am sorry to say you that, there is no chance to join in Indian Air Force for girls

because,only unmarried male candidates are eligible for that

after your graduation and scoring aggregate 60% in your exam you can apply for afcat exam which is conducted by air force twice a year

Sorry girls are not eligible to apply for NDA examination because in the NDA notification it is clearly mentioned that only unmarried male are required to apply.

UPSC conducts the NDA examination and there isn't any mention of girls in the notification. So you have to go for other options.

If you have aim of joining Indian Defence then you can do it after Graduation. UPSC conducts CDS exam which is for both male and females. Also there are special entry schemes for women who have NCC 'C' Certificate.

Hence if you are 12th pass then you can join Degree course and if possible join NCC . For CDS exam any stream graduates can apply that means you can opt for any stream.

But if you are interested in Indian Navy or Air Force then you must ensure that you study physics or maths in Graduation.

Age Limit for CDS exam:

Indian Air Force Academy : 19 to 23 years

Indian Naval Academy : 19 to 22 years

Indian Military Academy : 19 to 24 years

Officers Training Academy : 19 to 25 years
