Re: Can I appear for engineering after scoring 45.3% in PCM
Sorry to let you know that you are not eligible for pursuing engineering course from any university approved by AICTE having secured only 45.3% in PCM in senior secondary board examination.
Since to get admitted in an university affiliated to AICTE a student needs to secure at least 50% aggregate in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics in their 12th board examination from a recognized board of education which you do not have. Also you can get admission in deemed university by giving donation with your percentage but this will not be a right option as the degree from these does not have high recognization as well as quality of education in these university are not satisfying too. So to get admitted in the engineering course in the current session you can switch to the improvement examinations of PCM to improve your percentage aggregate in the same or have a gap of one year and give the board examination next year with good preparation. |
